GEC was incorporated in Phoenix, Arizona in 1989 and started with two full-time employees, Chet L. Pearson, P.E. and Donald J. Spadola, P.E. Early in the development of the firm, they formulated a set of objectives and growth plan to help guide the firm's continuing success.
At the center of that plan, we assembled a well educated, experienced, aggressive, and committed professional and technical staff. Pursuant to this strategy, GEC has grown to a regional firm with over 100 employees, providing engineering, environmental, chemical, and materials testing services.

GEC is one of the only local consulting firms with engineers, geologists, and scientists working in a variety of different disciplines. This cross-training and experience provides our clients with well-rounded staff working on their project. It is not unusual for our environmental staff to routinely point out potential geotechnical issues to our clients. This broad based approach is invaluable to our clients during due diligence evaluations.
