DESCRIPTION: GEC was responsible for determining the regulatory requirements of the Department of Army and compliance with various Army regulations in developing the Environmental Baseline Surveys at multiple armories throughout Arizona.

SCOPE OF SERVICES:

GEC conducted Environmental Baseline Surveys (EBSs) on several armories throughout Arizona.  The studies included typical Phase I ESA services, development of topographic surveys to determine site boundaries and surface gradients for stormwater runoff, evaluation of threatened or endangered species at the Site, evaluation of cultural or historical issues for the Site, determination of facility regulatory compliance, evaluation of management practices, and evaluation of facility regulatory compliance status.  Additional work associated with the project included subsurface evaluations, drywell sampling and testing, erosion evaluations, and soil and sediment sampling and testing.
