Geotechnical and Environmental Consultants, Inc. (GEC) has exciting news to share with you. On August 28, 2009, GEC joined forces with Western Technologies Inc. (WT) to form one of the largest geotechnical, environmental, construction materials testing, and non-destructive testing firms in Arizona and the southwestern United States. By joining forces, the company will have over 50 years of experience providing these types of services in the local marketplace. No other firm in the Phoenix metropolitan area can boast this amount of local experience. We are excited about the prospect of providing you with expanded services and capabilities throughout the southwest United States. This move will increase our ability to meet your future engineering and consulting needs.
Most of GEC’s existing staff will be making the transition to WT, and we will remain Principals of the firm. Therefore, through careful planning, we expect the transition to be seamless from your prospective. If we are currently working on one or more projects for you, then you can expect they will be completed on time and within budget by our existing staff and will be of the same high quality you have come to expect from GEC. And as we move forward, because WT’s entrepreneurial spirt is much like our own, you can expect the same high quality services conducted by the same individuals as if you were working directly with GEC. We are thrilled about the future possibilities and hope you are as well.
